Peanut Butter Cocoa

Cake

This is a light brown moist cake.  I was very pleased with the results.

Ingredients:

3 cups flour

2 cups sugar

2 cups water

1/3 cup of cocoa

1 tesp. Salt

1/3 cup of vegetable oil

1 egg

1 small capful of black walnut flavoring ( you can choose your own type)

1 cup of smooth peanut butter

Blend the dry ingredients well with a large fork.

Add the water and blind with mixer.

Add egg, oil, and flavoring and blend.

Last, add peanut butter and blend well.

Pour into your choice of baking pans.

Place in an oven preheated to 350 degrees.

If you use a well-greased flat rectangular pan, bake 30 min. or until the toothpick comes out  clean.

If use a something like a bunt pan, bake 50 min. or until the tooth pick comes clean.

I used a bunt pan and the cake was done at fifty minuets.  I let cool on a cooling rack for an hour.  I used a knife around the edges, but the cake came out clean.

I did not ice my cake, but you can ice to suit your self.  I thought an icing with some peanut butter might be nice, but if didn’t want to use up the confectionary sugar.
