These are very good cakes. I am usually very pleased with the results.
3 cups flour
2 ˝ cups sugar
2 – 2 ˝ cups milk
1 tesp. Salt
1/3 cup of vegetable oil
1 cap vanilla flavoring
I package of jello or pudding
Blend the dry ingredients well with a large fork.
Add the milk and blind with mixer.
Add egg, oil, and flavoring and blend.
Pour into your choice of baking pans.
Place in an oven preheated to 350 degrees.
If you use a well-greased flat rectangular pan, bake 30 min. or until the toothpick comes out clean.
If use a something like a bunt pan, bake 50 min. or until the tooth pick comes clean.
I used a bunt pan and the cake was done at fifty minuets. I let cool on a cooling rack for an hour. I used a knife around the edges, but the cake came out clean.
I like cream cheese icing but you can ice to suit your self.
